TEN-Telecom
Telecommunications Networks
The TEN-Telecom programme covers feasibility, validation and deployment activities related to telecommunication's networks and services. It is this emphasis on deployment which distinguishes TEN-Telecom from other EU-supported R&D programmes in the telecommunication's area. The programme is aimed at projects able to generate sustainable activities with a high social or business impact.
By supporting the study phase, pilot implementations and practical demonstrations (plus in some cases the initial steps of deployment), the TEN-Telecom programme aims at helping projects create a business case for new, innovative services or products based on international telecommunication's.
TEN-Telecom bridges the gap between technical development and commercial operation in global communications.
